      Christmas at the races returns on Saturday 28th November featuring the Steelform Roofing Group Wanganui Cup. This year there is a new package called ‘The Party Tent’ which will have all the young party goers revelling in the festival atmosphere! The Grandstand will be for the serious racing patrons and those who want to concentrate on the betting and horses. 

      Packages always sell out at this popular event so get in quick to be part of the action!

      Please note that this is event strictly R18. 

      General admission $10/head
      General admission through the gate. Public areas are the Eulogy Lounge, Veandercross café and on the lawns.  
       

      HOSPITALITY OPTIONS

      Grandstand Pack $50/head
      The pack for all the serious racing patrons.  Join the horse owners and focus on the racing and betting with access to the Level 1 bar and main grandstand for the best view on course.  
      Your package includes: 
      • Gate entry & access to the main grandstand
      • A racebook on arrival
      • 2 beverage tokens 
      • Cash bar and TAB facilities
      • Food available from the cafe on this level

      You can also book leaners as well at $40 each.

      Party Tent $30/head
      All the cool crew will be partying in the new marquee on the Home straight to our DJ’s beats.  Join the festival atmosphere and entertainment and use your meal ticket at the food trucks. Get in quick as numbers are limited as this tent will sell out first!  
      Your package includes:
      • Gate entry & access to the Party Tent
      • A racebook on arrival
      • Live DJ and entertainment
      • Meal ticket from the food trucks 
      • Cash bar 

      MARQUEE OPTIONS

      Christmas Marquee Village                $850 (for ten people / maximum of 12)
      Book your own marquee and enjoy all of the fun in the popular Christmas Village close to all of the racing action.
      Your package includes:

      • Gate admission and racebook
      • Christmas buffet luncheon and dessert
      • 2 beverage tokens 
      • Cash bar facilities
      • TAB caravan facilities 
      • A lovely hostess to keep you entertained and fun activities throughout the day

      If you have a large group of up to 40 guests (or more) then there is also the option of a Maxi marquee (6 x 6m) at the price of $85/head.
      You can also book leaners & umbrellas for outside your marquee as well at $30 each.

      Christmas Marquee Village - Maxi marquee  ($85/head – up to 40ppl)
      Book your own 6x6m marquee and enjoy all of the fun in the popular Christmas Village close to all of the racing action.
