To celebrate what would have been Bill Richardson’s 80th birthday, we’ve got something special in store.

If you’ve ever wanted to get a glimpse behind-the-scenes, now’s your chance. Our Bill’s Birthday Back Shed Tour, will give petrolheads the chance to see what makes New Zealand’s premier destination for everything wheeled tick.

This exclusive opportunity – coming to Invercargill Saturday 31 October – will give guests the chance to be guided around the world-class Bill Richardson Transport World collection alongside Joc O’Donnell (Bill’s daughter, and Transport World creator and executive director).

Next, visit the off-site Transport World workshops and sheds. Led by curator Graeme Williams, our incredibly talented workshop team will be on hand to chat to guests about the treasures found within – as well as the projects they’re busy tackling at the moment. Normally off-limits to the general public, this is your chance to see the vehicles set to appear within our collections before anybody else.

Finish the day off with a barbecue buffet lunch and great company at Dig This Invercargill.
