Dear NZ Barok Subscribers and ticket holders

We have been updated with an important development and announcement from NZ Barok:

The health and welfare of our audience, musicians and communities is of the utmost importance to NZ Barok. As a result of the current Covid-19 lockdown in Auckland, NZ Barok has decided to effectively cancel the Hark, Sweet Music concerts Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th November 2021 at St. Luke’s Church, Remuera, Auckland with the hope of hosting the concert in October next year as part of a fresh 2022 NZ Barok Season.

iTICKET will be in touch directly with more information and next steps available to ticket holders.

On behalf of iTICKET and NZ Barok: New Zealand's Baroque Orchestra, we thank you for your ongoing support of NZ Barok, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

      Best wishes
      Helen Brinkman

Music fit for Kings and Queens, Handel's glorious Water Music and Purcell's sparkling Fairy-Queen will entrance and entertain. Don't miss the chance to hear these masterworks in all their shining glory on baroque instruments.

NZ Barok would like to thank Creative New Zealand - Toi Aotearoa, Auckland Council Regional Arts and Culture, Perpetual Guardian, The Four Winds Foundation, Dame Jenny Gibbs, Pub Charity, Anonymous and NZ Barok Supporters for their support.

Comprising leading baroque specialists from all over New Zealand, NZ Barok performs using instruments and playing styles of the period, breathing fresh life and vitality into baroque and classical masterpieces and lesser-known musical treasures from the 18th century.
