Does our very own Hawkes Bay stand a chance against Bordeaux - arguably the most famous wine region in the world...?
Experienced winemaker Jenny Dobson, who has worked in both regions, thinks so and wants to put the wines to the test. Noble Rot loves a good wine region standoff and this is sure to be one of the best yet! Poised, powerful reds and long-lived whites will be the order of the evening but the catch is that you will be tasting all of these blind to really start with common ground.
A five-course menu created especially for this event will both complement and enhance the wines and truly provide the grit on this Battle of the Gravels. Hawkes Bay all the way!
