This year has already been one for the books so we would like to return to a simpler time, even if it’s just for an afternoon.
Hiakai is inviting renowned chef Martin Bosley to join them for a long lunch paying tribute to his iconic Wellington restaurants, Brasserie Flipp and Martin Bosley's Yacht Club. Her first job in fine dining, Monique often speaks of the influence Martin and the Yacht Club had on her as a young chef. Martin in his own right has helped to push Aotearoa's food culture forward with his whimsical and avant-garde approach to food. Together their food is creative yet fun.
This lunch highlights the evolution of Wellington’s culinary scene and the contributions Martin and Monique have made to it. Together they will be serving classic dishes from Brasserie Flipp, Martin Bosley’s and Hiakai along with a selection of wines and bespoke cocktails.
