Join us for a fabulous fun filled afternoon High Tea in the gorgeous setting of historic Gear Homestead, and support those living with Parkinson’s in the Wellington region.

This is our premier social event for Parkinson’s NZ in Wellington in 2020.

High teas are a favourite event at Gear Homestead. These are a fantastic opportunity to try a selection of delicious treats; fancy finger sandwiches, scones with Lewis Road Creamery cream, a variety of cakes and slices all freshly made on the premises. A choice of Dilmah teas or plunger coffee will accompany the delicious treats.

After eating you can relax and explore the beautiful gardens of the homestead, and play some croquet on the lawn with your friends.  Surrounded by rose gardens, manicured lawns, native bush and established trees with stunning views of Porirua Harbour, Gear Homestead provides an outstanding venue for our High Tea event.  Raffles will be available with wonderful prizes to be won, thanks to the generosity of Porirua New World.

You are sure to have a wonderful afternoon of fun and food, and feel good knowing that you are supporting those living with Parkinson’s and Parkinsonism conditions, their whānau and carers to access the best possible information and support services.  For over 37 years we have provided the only service specifically for people living with Parkinson’s in New Zealand.  All proceeds from this 2020 event will support Parkinson’s services delivered in the Wellington region.
