Lucas Baker and Noelle Dannenbring formed Kōrua after having met and instantly gotten along at the 2020 Adam Summer School for chamber music. The pair have since performed concert tours around New Zealand and joined musicians around the world in ‘Sunday Soirees,’ a fourteen-week international online recital series held by New Zealand String Quartet’s, Helene Pohl. They individually have much experience in dance, predominantly ballet, and aspire to weave elements of this shared passion into their music performances, creating more harmony between the two performing art genres

Repertiore: Arno BABADZHANYAN, Sonata in Bb minor, Serge PROKOFIEV “The Montagues and the Capulets” (Montagues et Capulets from Romeo and Juliet, Op.64), Camille SAINT-SAËNS

Danse Macabre, Op.14
