Originally formed for a single performance for CMNZ, Lotus Duo found the exploration of music written for guitar and flute quite an exciting experience, and so decided to continue expanding their repertoire. 

With both musicians coming from rather different musical backgrounds, Samantha recently finishing her Bmus (First Class Honours) having played in several orchestras and chamber groups throughout NZ, and Chris originally an electric guitarist beginning his studies in jazz guitar before learning classical guitar at NZSM (now finishing Honours), the Duo have found repertoire that showcase's their individuality as musicians and shared musical taste.
