Enjoy a morning of words, wit and wisdom, alongside one of New Zealand’s most celebrated writers, Dame Fiona Kidman.
Her writing explores feminist self-discovery and social validation. Her fiction depicts New Zealand women, both contemporary and historical, as rebellious heroines who resist the social values that threaten to engulf them.
Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements on the booking page. Ticketing is general admission and seating will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
This event is part of Puke Ariki’s Festival of Words - a fabulous four day programme that will entertain, inspire and educate.
From Thursday 29 July to Sunday 1 August we’re bringing you performances and conversations with some of Aotearoa’s biggest names in the literary arts.
See you there!
