Back with a dramatic vengeance… Medical students at the University of Auckland are absolutely bursting with teenage excitement to bring MAS PRESENTS: MED SCHOOL MUSICAL to you at SkyCity Theatre!

This August all of your favourite characters from the 2006 high school zeitgeist will be present: Troy (Jonathan Khalil), Gabriella (Makayla Wadsworth), Sharpay (Jess Pausch), Ryan (Timothy Lim)… and many more. Let our acting, singing, dancing, and musical talents bring to life the tragic story of young love struggling against a medical establishment burdened with the evil “Status Quo”. Be sure to laugh, cry, and sing along to our show!!

In previous years, the Med Revue has donated all proceeds (of up to 5-figure amounts) to charity from your ticket purchase. In 2021, MED SCHOOL MUSICAL is proudly raising money for I Am Hope. This worthy charity was started by the comedy legend Mike King, and here’s what Mike has to say about their work:

“The biggest problem facing our people right now is an overactive inner critic. That’s the voice inside all of our heads that has us second-guessing everything we do, the voice of doubt that beats us up and tells us we’re failures, that we’re substandard, and even worthless. Having an overactive inner critic is not a sign of mental illness, it’s a sign that we are normal. If we want to help those who are suffering from mental illness get to a better place then we are going to have to start talking openly about our own problems. We need to lead by example. That’s especially important when it comes to our kids.  If our young people see adults talking openly about their problems then guess what? They’ll start talking openly about their problems. They will also understand that having a tough time doesn’t mean they are mentally ill. Let's take better care of each other.”

What better way to support such an amazing charity, than with a Revue! Grab your tickets now, and we’ll see you there!
