The Royal New Zealand Ballet Foundation and the Royal New Zealand Ballet, in partnership with Hippopotamus, bring you an evening of fantastical food, music and enchantment. Enter a world of fairies, mischief and moonlight for a special three-course meal inspired by the upcoming production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. 

Executive Chef Jiwon Do has spun together a feast. Start with native herb-crusted venison carpaccio with all the trimmings from Oberon’s Forest, from juniper berry jus to Pāmu deer milk snow. Then move to a love-juice potion of pan-seared Ōra King salmon with kina and egg custard and pāua tortellini, before finishing with a decadent surprise dessert aptly named The Course of True Love Never Did Run Smooth.  

Meet dancers, be dazzled by characters in costume, listen to the beautiful music of this special ballet and support the living arts in Aotearoa. A magical night not to be missed.
