      Join Thistle Inn for an evening with Hannah Millar from A Lady Butcher and Behemoth founder, Andrew Childs.

      Focusing on the Nose to Tail philosophy, Hannah will discuss the obvious and not-so-obvious cuts of pork and how she creates her award-winning products. A whole carcass will be on display from Eketahuna Meats (Wairarapa) to enable Hannah to easily demonstrate and discuss her butchery prowess.  

      What better way to commence the imbibing journey than with a carefully crafted charcuterie board? Following this, guests will be presented with a four-course pork-based menu using pork scotch, hock and shoulder. Each course will be presented with a brief explanation of its cooking method and matched with a Behemoth beer. Cooking methods and flavour profiles will be discussed so you can discover the influence pairing has on your dining experience. We hope you'll be squealing in delight!

      Ticket includes: Shared charcuterie board, four-course menu matched with beer, and a live demonstration.
      Please note that seating for this event will be at shared tables, this means you may be seated with other people as well as the group you have booked with.
