Go behind-the-scenes with some of the Wairarapa's top producers and discover the taste of the olives and wine this region is famous for.
Join Helen and John Meehan at the oldest commercial olive grove in the Wairarapa, discovering and tasting their artisan extra virgin estate blends and innovative infused olive oils.
Then onto Porters Estate where you'll explore the 120-year-old barn and stables that have been converted into the winery. Local producer John Porter tells the story behind his wines whilst you sample away.
The final stop will be at Union Square for a leisurely lunch where Olivo olive oil is used to enhance the flavour of other locally produced foods in a three-course meal, with each course matched to a Porters wine.
Transport is provided from the Martinborough Hotel to Olivo and Porters, then back to the hotel. Please arrange your transportation to return home following lunch.
Ticket includes: Three-course lunch with matched wines, olive grove tour and olive oil tasting, winery tour and tasting, and transport to the tastings.
