Show off your low and slow skills at the Jack Daniel’s Kumeu Barbecue Championship at the Kumeu Classic Car Hot Rod Festival.

It’ll see New Zealand’s best low and slow BBQ pitmasters compete head to head in the battle to be named Grand Champion and win their share of the NZ$10,000 prize pool. 

Registration are now open. Each team can have between 1-5 people and you can register your team up until Sunday 5th January 2020.  Simply register your team together in one registration and pay one fee of $300 per team.

Please note, the maximum number of teams per event is strictly limited to 50 – so unlike the way we like to cook, you better be quick.

T&C’s; please note that no refunds are given to teams that pull out after registering to compete. Teams can transfer their registration to another team in the case of not being able to compete.
