Join us to hear readings from one of Aotearoa’s masters of poetry and prose, Apirana Taylor.
Apirana Taylor, Ngati Porou, Te Whānau-ā-Apanui, Ngāti Ruanui and Te Ātiawa, is a nationally and internationally published poet, a playwright, short story writer, novelist, actor, painter and musician.
His most recent book, Five Strings, was longlisted for the Ockham New Zealand Book Award for Fiction 2018.
This event is part of Puke Ariki’s Festival of Words - a fabulous four day programme that will entertain, inspire and educate.
From Thursday 29 July to Sunday 1 August we’re bringing you performances and conversations with some of Aotearoa’s biggest names in the literary arts.
See you there!
