Nowruz (Persian: نوروز , pronounced (now'?u?z); lit. 'new day') is the Iranian New Year, also known as the Persian New Year, which is celebrated worldwide by various ethno-linguistic groups usually around March 21.

Nowruz has Iranian, people of Afghanestan, and Zoroastrian origins; however, it has been celebrated by diverse communities for over 3,000 years in Western Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, Black sea basin and Caucasus.

Nowruz is the day of  beginning of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. It marks the first day of the first month Farvardin of the Iranian (Persian) calendar.

We (HAPfilm and The House OF Iran) have planned a special event for you to make the night most memorable. These include Persian poetry reading, traditional instrumental music performance, dance performances, energetic live music and DJ performances PLUS having a unique program for celebrating the new year time.
