Songs from the world’s most loved operas and musicals, presented by some of Waikato’s finest young performers

The Dame Malvina Major Foundation is passionate about seeing New Zealand’s singers and musicians shine on the world’s stages – and here at home. 

This annual concert is one of the Waikato’s hidden gems where the Foundation gathers some of the finest young singers and musicians, who perform to fundraise for the Foundation. 

For all concert goers, you will be out in the sunshine (we hope) so please ensure you wear sunblock and bring a hat and sunglasses if it looks to be fine day. 

For those with picnic tickets, please consider other concert-goers' comfort and viewing pleasure. You are able to bring sand chairs, picnic rugs and cushion seating. Full chairs, and umbrellas are not permitted.

Alcohol: you cannot bring alcohol onto the premises. Alcohol is available to purchase on site at a cash / EFTPOS bar
