The Auckland port has been a cornerstone of the city’s economy, but it has capacity constraints, imposes a massive burden on the motorways and occupies land that could be put to better use. But what should we do? It’s a question about shipping, economic costs and opportunities, the environment and most of all about freight. How do we want to move freight around, now and in the decades to come? What does that tell us about where to put the port? And how soon are we going to get started?
Join us to hear views and insights from those who have a significant role in shaping the future of the Auckland Port, and take the opportunity to ask this industry panel your questions.
