Heretaunga Players present two short comedies for their first production of 2021.  The first play is ‘Senior Speed Date’ by Jeff Bray.  Recently separated from her husband, Joan has been persuaded by her daughter to attend a speed dating evening.  She is confronted by a procession of highly unsuitable candidates!

The second play is ‘A Mad Breakfast’ by Isabel McReynolds Gray. This farce deals with what happens when Mr Jones and Miss Brown, practical jokers, tell each of the guests at their boarding house that Mr. Long, a wealthy visitor, is especially interested in their individual hobbies.  Long is told the house is an insane asylum.  The results are a riot.
