This live production has allocated seats for you to choose with a capacity of 99 seats. Please note that under Covid 19 Delta Level 2 Conditions, we will cap our auditorium capacity to 60 tickets per performance and patrons will be seated according to government regulation sign in and social distancing requirements managed by our Front of House staff. We will monitor the capacity regulations and if indoor numbers rules allow an increase or we go to Level one, more tickets will be released for purchase at that time.

MUSICVILLE takes us on a magical, musical, fairy tale adventure with Maiden Melody and Radical Rhythm as they attempt to save their town from the Sorcerer of Silence. On their quest to the Castle of Composition, they pass through the Desert of Doo-wop, the Ocean of Opera, and the Terrible Terrain of Tango meeting musical friends and foes along the way. Their journey teaches them about new kinds of music, overcoming obstacles, and the importance of working together!
The South Canterbury Drama League Junior Section is delighted to present another fantastic show in our 60th Year, to add to our long list of favourites since the Junior Section was established in 1961. Musicville, under the Juniors – Primary banner, features talented enthusiastic performers aged 8-13 years ready to whisk you away on a fairy tale adventure into a land of music at our Playhouse Premises in Church Street, Timaru, which offers an intimate close up theatre experience.
