You might find all these themes in this eighth season of the Ellerslie One Act Play Festival. This biennial festival, slightly distorted by a pandemic, has become a highly coveted event for playwrights to submit original works and as a mentoring event for new directors. Four plays have been selected from a number of submissions and all will be performed each night. The one-acts contain multiple themes, each accomplishing its own story with efficient use of dialogue and technical elements. Set in cabaret style seating, the festival is a more relaxed way of seeing the plays and is perfect for group bookings.

Gala Opening Night
A complimentary glass of méthode champenoise, or juice, and snacks will be served on the Gala Opening Night on Thursday 25 August from 7.15pm.
