Take a highly acclaimed chef, along with his team and stewards of great calibre from MASU restaurant in the Skycity Federal Street precinct and throw them into the world of imagination that is Weta Workshop Unleashed. 

What you will get is a world where flavours, fantasy, and reality collide for an occasion that heightens all the senses as you immerse yourself into the world of Wētā Workshop with fantastical hosts, unruly delights, dinner and wines in an unexpected setting. 

Your evening begins outside the vaulted doors of Weta Workshop Unleashed. You and your guide will explore the worlds of horror, sci-fi, and fantasy in the making - which will include appetisers designed by chef and restaurateur Nic Watt (MASU) along the way. Hold onto them firmly as you meander, as there might be something lurking in the shadows… 

Once you arrive at the final set, a Wētā Workshop inspired four course dinner awaits. Chef Nic Watt of MASU has conjured up a four-course menu with expertly matched wines that have pushed the boundaries of creativity and daring. With a multitude of accolades and awards for restaurants under his belt, Nic presents an interactive dining experience with exclusive creations specially for this evening. 

This is a dinner and event that needs to be seen, to be believed, so come with an open mind, (and an empty belly) as all is not what it seems.

PLEASE NOTE: There are different start times for the guided tour segment of Wētā Workshop Unleashed with limited capacities for each slot. Please arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of your tour start time.

The first tour begins at 5.30pm and the group leaves every 7 minutes.
Dinner service will begin at approximately 7pm.
