Screwball musical comedy TOP HAT is the crown jewel of Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire’s years-long collaboration. Set in London and Venice, it centres around the whirlwind romance between American dancer Jerry (Astaire) and beautiful, feisty Dale (Rogers) – multiple cases of mistaken identity included.

Irving Berlin’s wonderful soundtrack includes eternal classic “Cheek To Cheek” and culminates in one of the grandest final dance numbers in cinema history, “The Piccolino”. The New York Times declared the film “the most urbane fun you will find anywhere on screen”, and this still holds true nearly 90 years later.

Ticket price includes a sweet treat by Chocolatier Mirams. Running time 101 mins.
