In June 1954 New Zealand was rocked by news of a horrifying murder in Christchurch. Pauline Parker and friend Juliet Hulme violently bludgeoned Pauline's Mother to death in an attempt for the girls to stay together. This story was immortalized by Peter Jackson in the movie Heavenly Creatures, and now it is Amdram Whanganuis turn to bring this story to life.

Our first outing for 2022 is "Daughters of Heaven" written by Michelanne Forster. Performing only 6 shows in May, this is one not to be missed. An amazing cast of 12 of Whanganui's finest lead by our own Juliet Hulme played Shaila Hawkins and Pauline Parker played by Samantha Fleming.
