The Auckland Garden DesignFest is a unique weekend festival which celebrates New Zealand garden design excellence, featuring an array of Auckland’s very best, professionally designed gardens.

Taking place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 November, visitors will be able to view 18 gardens across Auckland, most of which have never been opened to the public before, and meet onsite with the designers.

Organised jointly by the Garden Design Society of New Zealand and Rotary Newmarket, all net proceeds go to four chosen charities; Lifeline Aotearoa, KidsCan, Garden to Table, and Oke.

Tickets for the Auckland Garden DesignFest can be purchased from iTICKET, Kings Plant Barn Stores, The Village Square Trust in Parnell and onsite during the weekend at the garden gate. Choose from $65 All Garden tickets, $55 Senior, $40 Access, $10 single garden access tickets, or $25 for entry to any three single gardens. Optional guided bus tours are also available for $175 for one day or $330 for both days.

‘Eat My Lunch’ lunches and salads are now available to pre-order for pick-up during the weekend. Last day for pre-ordering Eat My Lunches is Wednesday 23rd November 2022. Sweet and savoury treats will be available for purchase from the coffee cart in Garden 15 during the event.

Eat My Lunch is a social enterprise, and every lunch you order also gives a healthy school lunch to a Kiwi kid in need. We call it Buy One Give One. Every day is different, so expect a surprise when you pop the box.

Hungry Salad
A generous-sized delicious meal in one. These are seriously good salads full of texture, colour, flavour, not to mention, substantial! Made fresh daily using seasonal ingredients.

Hungry Lunch
Includes a large sandwich or wrap, a snack, a piece of fruit or vege pot, a sweet treat and an extra item. Made fresh daily using seasonal ingredients.
