LARKIN POE return to Australia & New Zealand in 2023! After a sell-out run in 2019, blues sisters Larkin Poe are back to play even bigger venues in Melbourne, Sydney, and Wellington.

Acclaimed U.S sister duo LARKIN POE today reveal the local opening acts for each of their New Zealand shows on their Blood Harmony 2023 Tour. Opening for Larkin Poe at Wellington’s Hunter Lounge will see rising young singer-songwriter Bails open the show on Friday 14 th April.

Now with the Easter long weekend approaching, Bluesfest Byron Bay announces the Byron Bay Bluesfest Easter Sale, where you can secure the best priced tickets from Wednesday 5 April through to Monday 10 April.

Make sure to take advantage of this unique opportunity as the perfect chance to treat yourself, friends, and whanau to a great night out at one of the Bluesfest NZ sideshows!

Taking a modern interpretation on traditional blues music, Larkin Poe create a unique brand of gritty, southern-fried blues, roots ‘n’ roll. Rebecca Lovell’s voice is full, comforting and charismatic as is seamlessly blends into her big sister Megan’s gospel-like backing vocals.

Both performing as multi-instrumentalists, it’s Megan that often steals the show, providing the perfect balance with some cracking lap steal solos; their performances that have garnered plenty of high-profile admirers such as Elvis Costello, Keith Urban, Bob Seger and Russell Crowe. In the extraordinary year that was 2020, Larkin Poe continued to be extraordinary, releasing not one, but two albums; ‘Self Made Man’ in June and ‘Kindred Spirits’ in November, the latter housing a fine collection of stripped-back versions of classics and new covers.
