The McCahon House Trust warmly invites you to spend a memorable day at the Gibbs Farm Sculpture Park. Your visit will help us to raise funds for our extensive public programmes, in addition to the operational costs of running the McCahon House Artists’ Residency.

Spread over almost 400 hectares of rolling hills overlooking the Kaipara Harbour, the privately-owned sculpture park houses the largest collection of monumental sculptures in Aotearoa by internationally recognised artists from New Zealand and abroad. The park also includes several exotic animals such as emus and giraffes.

Before purchasing your ticket, please read the Visitor Terms of Access and Information. Gibbs Farm is a private property open by appointment only on scheduled visitor days. There is no additional entry fee applicable when visiting Gibbs Farm.

        Important information:

TERRAIN: A full circuit around Gibbs Farm is a 3 - 4 hour walking experience on either grass or the paved pathway. There are large ponds and lakes across the site and such, children will need to be supervised at all times.

LUNCH: Pack your own picnic lunch. A coffee cart with hot and cold beverages will be available on-site. Payment is by CASH ONLY as there are no eftpos facilities.

TRAVEL & PARKING: We strongly recommend carpooling to ease congestion at the gate and reduce the impact on the environment. Please take note of your allocated entry Gate on your ticket. Parking is free.

ESSENTIALS: The weather is changeable so be prepared for all conditions and be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a hat, sunblock, water, and wet weather gear. The day will continue rain or shine.
