A perfect gig to share with your whanau, Aro is the award winning husband and wife duo Charles (Ngapuhi, Te Rarawa, Ngati Te Ata, Te Ari Awamutu) and Emily Looker. Aro were finalists in the Maioha Award at the Silver Scrolls (2019), APRA Best Children's Song Award for their song Korimako (2020) and Best Maori Group at the Waiata Maori Music Awards (2022). 

‘Maoriland Presents’ is a series of live music performances held at the Maoriland Hub in Otaki. Each show is hosted, speaking in depth with the artist about their inspirations and motivations to allow a limited capacity audience to an intimate and appreciative experience unlike any other.
