Award-winning theatre company, The Barden Party (their name comes from The Bard + Garden Party) is bringing their usual fun-loving spin to R&J and filling Shakespeare's most famous play with their general hilarious, heartfelt antics.

Set as modern-bohemian romance put to Kiwi and Australian music you love, and that you’ve never heard before… You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll dance the night away.

The Barden Party offers a truly authentic vintage theatre experience – operating as a traveling troupe just as was done hundreds of years ago. They carry all of their props and set with them, and are able to adapt their performance to suit a wide variety of spaces.
