Kia ora e te whanau to the 9th year of Festival One! 
After nearly having our 8th Festival this year, we can’t wait for our 9th in 2023. Because of your strong support we received during this tricky time, we’ve been able to carry on and launch Festival One 2023. Haere mai to a festival like no other, happening 27th – 30th January 2023.

Festival One is a camping and caravanning festival. Showers and toilet facilities, including facilities for the disabled are provided onsite. No alcohol or drugs are permitted. For more information check out our website. It is really important that all contact details are filled in so that we can help our country stay ahead of the COVID-19 situation. Gates & Times:
The Festival One gates will open at 10:00am on the morning of Friday 27th of Jan and will end at 12pm on Monday 30th of Jan. 

Location:
Hartford, 209 Whitehall Road, Karapiro 3496 - NEW Festival Location Confirmed!

Programme:
Artists and speakers are already being contacted for the upcoming festival. We can’t wait to share the programme with you! For now, you can check out the current artist line up here.

Caravan, Motorhome and Rooftop Tent Sites:
This is important as these sites sell really fast. Caravan sites are for those wanting their own slice of festival reserved over the weekend. Please come as self-contained as possible. That’s with solar panels, batteries, torches, water (no generators please), etc. If you can be self-contained with solar panels there’s no need to purchase in the powered section. The size options are:

Powered section:
Large 5.5 x 16m
Standard Size 5.5 x 8m

Non Powered section:
Large 5.5 x 16m
Standard Size 5.5 x 8m

If you have a small caravan that doesn’t take up much space you’re welcome to pitch a small tent within your allocated caravan site.

Roof top tent sites need to be booked as a caravan site. We aren’t permitted to allow people to camp inside their vehicles in the carpark.

Make sure you measure your space beforehand so you’re not disappointed.

Food & Retail Vendors:
Over the years we’ve had some amazing food and retail vendors colour festival. For 2022 you’ll be drooling over all the tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner food stalls, plus retailers to purchase your 2022 memorabilia, cool new threads and accessories.

Photo, Film and Campsite Comps:
Themes for Festival One’s 2023 Competitions will be announced later in the year – keep an eye on our website for more details.

Can I get a discount?
We’ve got a few different discounts available – see below! We know families come in a few different shapes and sizes, so here are our family discount pricing structures. And remember to grab your tickets at the early bird prices if you can! 

Family – One Adult +
Select one adult and at least 3 children/student tickets and we will give you (15% OFF the total ticket price (excl booking and transaction fees). Family tickets are only applicable to immediate family members.

Family – Two Adult +
Select two adults and at least 2 children/student tickets and we will give you (15% OFF the total ticket price (excl booking and transaction fees). Family tickets are only applicable to immediate family members.

Students
These tickets are available to anyone at high school or have a valid student ID. Please present a letter from your school or your student ID upon arrival at Festival - our staff with be checking!

Group discounts/how do I get a group to Festival One?
Become a Festival One Group by getting your unique code from groups@festival.one and sharing it with your friends. Get 20+ of them to enter your code when they purchase their passes and voila, you have a complimentary Festival One ticket.

Can we reserve a space for our group?
Absolutely! Email our groups team at groups@festival.one before the 11th of November 2022 and they will sort that out for you. Your group must be a minimum of 20 people to have space reserved.
