The MLT Hokonui Fashion Design Awards are now in their 35th year and are proud to be the longest running fashion design awards of their type in Aotearoa.

The awards are held in Gore in late July each year and attract interest and entries from throughout New Zealand. It provides a competitive platform for aspiring fashion designers to showcase their designs in front of well-regarded industry leaders. This year's judges include Deadly Ponies Founder and Creative Director, Liam Bowden, Vicki Taylor, of taylor boutique, and Steve Dustan from Huffer.

In addition to this fabulous lineup of judges, the MLT Hokonui Fashion Design Awards team are ecstatic to welcome Hilary Barry as compere of our Saturday Gala Evening.
