Canoeing For Beginners
by Mike Yeaman

A Comedy about Real Life, Fake Death and Living The Dream

The play is very loosely based on a famous tabloid press story. However, any similarity to persons living, or pretending to be dead, is purely coincidental. Married couple Frank and Beryl, in financial and emotional disarray, concoct the perfect plan. They’ll stage Frank’s death by drowning and use the insurance payout to retire to the sun-kissed shores of Cuba. The problem is they meet a few snags along the way.

“..a thoroughly infectious slice of satirical farce.” - Chronicle Live

A play in two acts with interval. Bar available.
Premium tickets include tea, coffee and cake.
Doors open at 7:00pm (matinee: doors open at 4:00pm)
Please note, best seats for mobility access are A1 and A2
