Harlequin Musical Theatre is bringing the beloved story of our favourite ogre, Shrek, to the stage, with "Shrek The Musical". Set in the fairytale land of Duloc, Shrek, an unconventional hero, embarks on a quest to rescue Princess Fiona from the dragon-guarded tower. Joined by his hilarious sidekick, Donkey, Shrek finds himself on a life-changing journey filled with unexpected challenges, witty banter, and epic musical numbers. Along the way, the unlikely trio forms an unbreakable bond. However, secrets unravel as Fiona's true identity and Shrek's vulnerability are revealed.

"Shrek The Musical" celebrates differences, embraces self-acceptance, and proves that true love goes beyond appearances. It's a hilarious and heartwarming journey of self-discovery, friendship, and the power of love, set to a toe-tapping score.

**RELAXED PERFORMANCE – 2PM - 26 NOVEMBER 2023
A relaxed show is designed to welcome anyone who might find visiting the theatre a bit overwhelming. A relaxed show involves bringing down the volume, reducing loud or surprising sound effects, keeping auditorium lighting on at a low level throughout and the theatre doors will remain open to allow audience members to move out of the theatre if needed. There are no cuts made to the show, we just make some small adjustments to the technical aspects so it’s a more gentle experience.
