Two fantastic venues - holding two nights and one all-dayer, ensuring you a whole weekend of rare soul music, National and international DJ’s will be spinning the top picks from their collections of soul music, all on vinyl. Tunes from a range of soul genres, such as Northern Soul, Motown, Modern, Crossover, R&B, Jazz Funk, Boogie and more. Superb tunes to keep you on that dance floor all night.

Come and join us, listen to some incredible tunes, dance until your feet ache, have a drink or two with friends, or make new ones. Explore the city of Christchurch during your visit, a city filled with cutting edge architecture alongside some of the oldest buildings in New Zealand. Discover the quirky bars and cafes or go on tram ride, or punt on the Avon. September is a great time to visit the Garden City.

Friday and Saturday Night Venue - Sign of the Takahe, 200 Hackthorne Road Cashmere, a magnificent Neo-Gothic building, sitting on the side of the Cashmere Hills overlooking the city of Christchurch, with only a 10 min drive from the city centre. It will be transformed into a great weekender venue all set in the elaborate Gothic Great Hall. Starting at 6.00pm dancing through until midnight. Full bar and bar snacks available all night.

Sunday All-Dayer Venue – Cascade Bar and Courtyard Stranges Lane, 219 High Street, a charming laneway bar, this fairy lit courtyard with a glass entrance creates a welcoming and inviting space for all to gather and bring the weekender to a close. DJ’s will be playing from 2.00pm right through till 10.30pm, a great bar with range of cocktails, and bar snacks available throughout the day, plus there is adjoining restaurant Soul Quarter (bookings recommended)
