Our concert begins with one of the most cherished choral works in the Baroque repertoire, Vivaldi’s Gloria. The twelve movements showcase Vivaldi's mastery of vocal and instrumental writing. This is followed by "Requiem for the Living" a compelling and emotionally charged choral work composed by Dan Forrest.

Premiered in 2013 this beautiful composition captivates audiences and performers alike with its rich musical tapestry and profound exploration of the human experience in the face of mortality.

For this concert, the choir is delighted to be joined by soloists Anna Leese & Elisha Fa'i-So'oialo and an Orchestras Central ensemble. The venue for this concert is St Peter’s Cathedral, a very apt setting for these two works. We look forward to sharing windows on the world with you.
