Join the very best of New Zealand's craft, artisan and boutique producers at the Chocolate & Coffee Festival over two delicious days where you can sample, purchase and explore the latest products innovations and give your tastebuds a real treat.
Over 50 exhibitors with the very best of New Zealand’s Artisan chocolatiers, coffee roasters and producers of amazing tasty treats, the big names through to new craft businesses will be there to bring you an entertaining day to remember!
And of course there will loads of samples and show specials to get your tastebuds tingling!
Mastering Espresso: The Art of Consistency (MASTERCLASS)
Join La Marzocco coffee educator, Phill Kearney, for an interactive and approachable class tailored for home baristas eager to perfect their espresso skills. We’ll explore the key elements that contribute to a delicious espresso, showing you how each one impacts the flavour in your cup. By gaining a deeper understanding of what happens during the brewing process, you’ll learn why some shots shine and others miss the mark. Making espresso can be a delicate dance of balancing variables, but with practice, clarity, and confidence, you’ll be able to craft a consistently enjoyable coffee every time. The focus will be on espresso, but these techniques can be applied across all brewing methods.

Texture, Scent and the Secrets of Taste (MASTERCLASS)
Chocolate and wine both offer an array of flavour and sweetness to excite every palate preference.
In this taste and talk experience, you will sample four wines to contrast and compare with a dozen delicious different chocolates. Ultimately finding your perfect match.
Chocolate loving host and Loveblock wine educator, Timothy Giles thinks that texture is the key. Will your taste agree?
