The Mount Albert Grammar School Art Show is your opportunity to delight in a stunning selection of contemporary painting, photography, sculpture and ceramic artworks. Exhibiting almost 1000 original artworks, the MAGS Art Show showcases established and emerging artists from around New Zealand, alongside top art students from MAGS.

Enjoy a fabulous evening out with friends, meet the artists, and be the first to view and purchase artworks from this professionally curated show.

With a truly wonderful variety of New Zealand art treasures on offer, you are bound to find a piece you love. A commission from every sale goes to the MAGS Foundation, with profits going to our Arts Faculty.

Gala Evening tickets are only $70 and include beverages, delicious canapes, and entertainment from talented MAGS musicians. Ever popular, this is one of Auckland’s iconic art events and sells out quickly.

Due to alcohol service and venue capacity, please note the Gala Evening is adults only.

Limited parking is available onsite at the school on the night, or available in surrounding streets. We encourage you to use taxi services if you are drinking.

The Art Show and sale of artwork continues on Saturday 3rd, 9:30am to 5pm and Sunday 4th August, 9:30am to 1pm - free entry.

Music and dance performances continue to entertain throughout the weekend and there’ll be a coffee cart on site. Join us for lunch on Saturday when Taco Loco will be selling delicious Mexican fare!
