Artworks Theatre proudly presents SOLO, a festival of short plays written, produced and performed on Waiheke Island by locals artists.

After delighting audiences with the quality and range of locally crafted productions in previous years, SOLO is back in 2024 with a special twist - all of the plays are not only performed by Waiheke talent, but each performer has written their own play.

The festival celebrates the culmination of a 8 week series of workshops around the writing, production and performance of solo theatre, led by John G Davies.

With the heart and essence of writing and performance at their core, these Solo plays are testament to the art of solo theatre as a vessel for creative discipline and exploration.
