Immerse yourself in the world of internationally acclaimed writer Katherine Mansfield. Start with a tour of her childhood home and learn about the importance of food in her stories. Then take a 10 minute walk down to the Canapé Company’s kitchen for a cooking class offered by Savour Cooking School with Le Cordon Bleu-trained patisserie chef Max Loh, where you’ll create profiteroles, éclairs and gougères. 

The afternoon will end with a Mansfield-inspired tea party with your delicious creations alongside other treats.

Ticket includes: A guided tour of Katherine Mansfield House & Garden, an introductory talk about food in her writing followed by book club-style discussion over a cup of tea, a cooking class with a trained patisserie chef, then an afternoon tea party with the treats participants have made themselves plus additional food (sandwiches, cake, scones) provided.
