      Dr Anita Heiss is one of Australia's most recognised and awarded writers, whose many publications include her memoir Am I Black Enough for you? and the novels Bila Yarrudhanggalangdhuray (River of Dreams). Manhattan Dreaming, Paris Dreaming, Who Am I? and Our Race for Reconciliation.

      Anita is a proud member of the Wiradjuri nation of central New South Wales, Australia and her vast writing appeals to children and adults alike.  In fact, they're often so good that adults can be found reading the kids-dedicated books.  Anita Heiss will speak with Stacey Morrison about her remarkable journey to becoming a beloved Australian writer, who is also renowned for her important work with the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
