Coco Solid and Sam Duckor-Jones are multi-disciplinary artists who have the gift of being able to seamlessly try anything when it comes to their creative practices. They are both highly respected artists who have worked hard to create safe, playful art spaces with and for their communities.

During this kōrero they will reflect on their favourite projects so far and share some of the challenges they overcame to shape spaces of communal artistic growth. They will read excerpts from their award-winning books – Coco Solid’s memoir How to Loiter in a Turf War and Sam Duckor-Jones' poetry collections Party Legend and People from the Pit Stand Up.
