Follow The Fleet: 1936 musical comedy FOLLOW THE FLEET is Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire’s love letter to all things nautical.
Astaire plays a seaman who, while on shore leave in San Francisco, attempts to woo beautiful dancer Sherry (Rogers). Things go awry when he costs Sherry her job – lots of flirting, singing and dancing ensues. Irving Berlin’s timeless musical numbers include comic tap duet Let Yourself Go and glorious Let’s Face The Music And Dance set amidst a formidable Art Deco backdrop.
