Over the last fifteen years or so The Nukes have toured about Aotearoa as well as Australia, inspiring thousands of pre teens from hundreds of schools with songs designed for all levels, backgrounds and ages. The visit is interactive and hands-on as well as being informative, entertaining and highly engaging.

Our hour long children's workshop is tailored for pre-teen children 6 years and older, numbers are limited so bookings are essential (can be a mixture of ukulele players, singers, percussion, dancers – performers in each group). Any level. We will teach them a song or two. It's great fun, engaging and inspiring. If they don't play, we can teach them or concentrate on singing and moving. We have a ball. The Nukes recently won the best NZ children music video award for 'Worms’ in 2021 and were finalists this year for 'Elephants Are On The Moon ' in 2023 and there’s plenty more to come.

If you don’t have a ukulele The Nukes and The Music Warehouse Lower Hutt should be able to provide you one . Keep an eye out for ukulele prizes and giveaways on the day .
