In 2023 we went to Dawson Falls in Te Papakura o Taranaki (formerly Egmont National Park). Today we revisit the maunga at North Egmont to explore a range of self-guided walking opportunities on well-formed tracks. On the way home we will stop at the Eltham cheese bar and there is the option to climb the iconic Hawera water tower for a panoramic view of the town.
Depart 8am. Return approx 5.30pm.
