The last Saturday in January is always a big day in Taihape for the local community and in 2024 we will be there to enjoy it, too. The focus will be the Gumboot Day throwing competition. A chance to have a go and to experience an old-style show day. Also an opportunity to explore Taihape. Short stops at Utiku, Mangaweka, Hunterville and at a heritage house at Turakina will complete an interesting day in the country.
Depart 8.30am. Return approx 5.30pm.
