Kapiti Island

Climbing fitness essential for the summit. Sturdy footwear, rain coat, warm clothing, binoculars, walking pole.
BYO morning tea and lunch.
Kapiti has a long history and more recently one of restoration. A tranquil bird and marine sanctuary, it is one of New Zealand’s most accessible nature reserves. Time to relax or climb and return from the summit.
Depart 6.30am. Return approx 6.30pm
