The Whānau of William attend his Tangi. A pressure cooker play over the course of twenty-four hours which sees each of the characters' relationships tested in their own ways.

Each of us deal with grief in different ways and at different times based on how we’ve been raised, our responsibilities, how we view ourselves, and our relationship to the deceased. Māori funeral practices are rooted deep in tradition, but our reactions to it are unique. Marmite and Honey seeks to understand our complexities, so that we can reflect on how we deal with loss.
