Any small children accompanying adults are the sole responsibility of their parent or guardian - we advise this is a licensed venue, which also means that no alcohol or food can be brought onto the premises and there will be security checks - Ahipao sells a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food. No dogs. Bring your smile for a fun time and a bit of a boogie.

The venue, Ahi Pao lies on the shores of Matiatia bay and is a stunning setting for the popular GOOD FRIDAY GROOVE, featuring an all-star line-up including NZ music icons GREG JOHNSON, WHITE CHAPEL JAK, the BIG TASTY, DEVON WELCH and Wellington’s CRASH BANDIHOOT.

The venue is fully licensed with artisan food stalls and a stones throw from Matiatia wharf, meaning transport and parking are no issue. An easy ferry trip from Auckland, the GOOD FRIDAY GROOVE is a great day-trip experience.

Ahi Pao is an outdoor venue with lawn seating. Some shade is provided. We recommend you bring a blanket or fold-up chair if you wish.

Gates open 11.30. Strictly NO DOGS.
Security will check bags for alcohol on entry.
