Join us for Hats Off to Roses, a creative and stylish evening that promises a night of fashion, fun, and artistic expression. Inspired by the World of Wearable Arts and the NZ Hat and Hair Art Awards, this exciting event brings together imaginative hat designs that push the boundaries of craftsmanship and creativity. It’s set to be a highlight of the 2024 Timaru Festival of Roses. 

Taking place on Saturday, 30th November at Caroline Bay Hall, the evening features a ‘hatwalk-style’ show where models will showcase a variety of stunning, handcrafted hats. From bold and inventive creations to elegant and floral-inspired designs, each hat tells a unique story. It’s the perfect opportunity to gather your friends and enjoy an evening out, complete with a complimentary drink and nibbles.

The soirée will be hosted by Lynda Hallinan, renowned gardening celebrity and NZ Gardening editor, who will also lead a gardening workshop earlier in the festival. 

Whether you're a lover of fashion or simply looking for a great night out with friends, Hats Off to Roses is sure to be an unforgettable part of this year’s festival.

Doors open at 6.45pm, and the show starts at 7.30pm
