      This Might Get Weird
      Paper Goat

An ensemble of talented improvisers from across Tāmaki Makaurau navigate the uncharted seas of improv! Four directors take turns steering, but it’s the audience who controls the show’s direction in this high-stakes experiment of improvisation.

You’ll see our directors riff up a storm of comedy scenes for your entertainment and joy in Act 1.. Then, when the dust settles, one improviser is bestowed the honour and responsibility of directing the Act 2 ensemble in whatever theatrical experiment would delight them and the audience that chose them.

Paper Goat is a social enterprise dedicated to supporting and promoting New Zealand’s performing arts scene. Through live shows, workshops, and collaborations with local organizations, Paper Goat provides resources for performers to develop their craft and reach wider audiences. They strive to create engaging and thought-provoking performances in various settings, from theaters to community centers, always seeking new ways to connect artists with audiences and build meaningful experiences for everyone involved.

Featuring members of This Might Get Weird ensemble including: Tamara Androsoff, Elle Bell, Gareth Blackler, Lisa Garrity, Rebecca Mary Gwendolon, Steven Lyons, Izzy Renton, Steve Robinson, Bridie Thomson, Greg Ward, Geoff Wilson
